How it works.
Three steps. No pressure, and no guessing what comes next.
Getting Started
Starting is simpler than you think.
Reaching out is the hardest part. Once you do, the path is simple, and there’s no pressure at any step along the way.
A free 10-minute call
We talk, no pressure and no cost. You get a feel for how I work, and we figure out together whether I’m the right fit. If I’m not, I’ll tell you and point you toward someone who is.
Your first session
We meet by secure video from wherever you are. You tell me what’s going on, and we start sorting through it.
Ongoing support
We keep meeting on a schedule that works for your life, moving at your pace toward feeling like yourself again.
The Free Call
What the first call is like.
Most people are nervous before that first call, and that’s completely okay. There’s nothing to prepare and nothing you have to get right. I usually just ask what’s bringing you here, and we go from there.
A quick hello from Misty, about 60 seconds.
However you say it is fine. Most people keep it simple, that they’ve been feeling alone, or down, or anxious all the time. There’s no wrong way to start.
We talk for about ten minutes, no cost and no pressure. If it feels like a good fit, we book your first session. If I’m not the right fit for what you need, I’ll point you toward someone who is. Either way, you leave the call knowing there’s a path.
Telehealth isn’t for everyone, but most people find it easier than they expect. You don’t have to rearrange your life. You stop for an hour, and then you pick right back up.
A note for veterans: if you’re using VA Community Care, you’ll need a referral from your VA provider before we begin. Not sure where to start? Reach out and I’ll help you figure it out.
You don’t have to explain everything today.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out. Book a free 10-minute call and let’s just talk.
